Provide depot level maintainance for assigned aircraft and subsystems in support of strategic missions: Looking Glass, EM Reconnaissance, and Airborne Command Post.

CONTRIBUTION

ON EQUIPMENT
Troubleshoot and repair of voice and data communications systems (components, transmission lines, antennae, and aircraft wiring) on assigned strategic aircraft. Maintain aircraft forms and records.

OFF EQUIPMENT
Troubleshoot and repair of communication equipment to component level. This includes HF, VHF, UHF radio, mux/demux system, aircraft interphone, AFSATCOM satellite communications system and other communications systems on EC-135, RC-135, E-4B and other transient aircraft. Maintain AF Technical Orders and documentation. Provide training and supervision to subordinate personnel.
